It’s exactly six weeks to the Rugby World Cup. And the South African rugby team is in turmoil! Quick, everybody panic. Lose your cool at our performance on the weekend, label Div an incompetent, lying chop. Do whatever it takes to convince yourselves and others that the Boks are doomed and haven’t a hope in hell!


I am pretty sure that was the memo every rugby journo got this Monday.

In my first post, I made a point that anyone expecting miracles out of John Mitchell this season was way off the mark. Such is the lack of quality and depth in the Lions playing staff, they would struggle to overturn the Griffons on a good day.

Supporting the Lions wasn't a choice, it's in my blood

Many can be forgiven for thinking I need my head checked when it comes to my choice of rugby team. The Lions have not finished in the top 10 of a Super Rugby competition since 2001 (which in itself is nothing to pop bottles over).

25 Years Old.


I live in the Vale.


I have a sports management degree from University of Johannesburg. I still can't believe it.


I spent 3 years at Prosport International managing rugby players at the Lions and Blue Bulls. I now work as a commercial consultant for SAIL, driving commercial ventures for the likes of Cricket South Africa, the Blue Bulls and EFC AFRICA.


Oh yes I love long walks on the beach, candle lit dinners, sunsets and strive for world peace.
