Let's get ready to rumble!!

The Vodacom Super Rugby Semi-finals are finally upon us. As a Lions supporter, who hasn't seen his team in action for two weeks, and is dismayed by the current rumblings and fall-outs in the Lions boardroom, I find myself firmly supporting the Stormers. It is a rare thing indeed, to find myself screaming for the Cape side. But they're the last South African team in the competition, and they deserve all our support.
There has been a lot of talk on the internets about the 'locals' supporting the Crusaders but that's a whole 'nother post on another blog. It's time to stand together as South Africans and support out boys.
Ok, so on to the nuts and bolts... The first semi sees the Reds hosting the Blues in Brisbane on Saturday (kick-off 11:40am SA time), and then the Stormers take on the Crusaders at Newlands (kick-off 5:00pm SA time). The Reds backs Digby Ioane and Anthony Faingaa return from injury along with flanker Beau Robinson.
And... Oh, bugger it, who wants to hear about the Reds and the Blues?
It's the Stormers and Crusaders we're interested in!
Much has been said about the mental toughness and solid defense of both teams. There's the battle between Carter and Grant and Schalk and McCaw. And of course.... Sonny Bill Williams versus Jean de Villiers. Once again it will be one of the most anticipated showdowns of the Vodacom Super Rugby season. It's going to be huge, colossal, mammoth, EPIC! It's going to be like Ali vs Tyson!
Bring it on!!!
